I have to tell you, seeing the social media posts about the Christmas lights in Firenze makes me a little sad, but they also serve as a reminder of my own wonderful experience last year. It was such a magical time to visit this city that I love so much. I am truly grateful that I got to experience the Christmas season in Firenze.
I wanted to share a special moment with you. I had just landed (December 28th), unpacked and got my apartment set up, and although I was severely jet-lagged and very sleepy, I couldn't resist a twirl around Firenze. This stop in Piazza delle Repubblica actually brought tears to my eyes. It reflected outside what I was feeling inside - so happy to be on this magical journey of play, and adventure, and in expectation of miracles. As I watch it today, as brief as it is, it brings me right to Happy Heart Patricia and inspires me to create more of these moments.
