Ciao Cari Amici,

My heart is so incredibly sad today, as I find myself having to say goodbye to a very dear, dear friend. I cannot wrap my mind around the fact that Carmela will no longer be here. I have nothing else, but to attempt to find some solace in sharing a few images that she liked, and a few photos that remind me of her in one way or another.

I will forever hold Carmela's laugh in my heart, as it was a special one that will remain unmatched. And, I shall forever be thankful to her for picking up the baton after my Mother died, and celebrating my courage to take chances. She inspired me, although she thought it was the other way around.

Carmela was one of the bravest and most genuinely loving person I've ever known. I will miss her terribly, as will all of those who love her. Please keep Carmela, her husband Ray, and her two beautiful kids Bianca and Ray Jr. in your hearts and your prayers.

Cherish your loved ones and always strive to live your dreams. In the end, it's really all we have and it's all we really need. Love you Carmela.
