Life sometimes throws us some curve balls that were unanticipated, disappointing and sometimes even devastating. These moments can upset our equilibrium on so many levels that we may find it difficult to put one foot in front of the other.
When these moments enter my life, I turn to beauty; especially the beauty of flowers. They continue to bloom without complaint, without deliberation, without hesitation. There is only one way, and that way is forward. I absorb the lesson they provide and their beauty provides a path that warms and heals my heart.
I'm sharing these sentiments in case you need to hear them in your own life right now. Also sharing just a few of the many beautiful flowers that have blessed my path. Some are from New York City and others from Tuscany. I invite you to go looking for the beauty in your own backyard and beyond. And when you find, breathe it all in deeply.
