I've been reading my journal from last year to have a revisit to Firenze. I love the beauty of journaling and taking photos. It allows me to travel back in time and relive precious moments, and reminds me of some I had forgotten. It also helps me to see the growth in my life, as well as monitor those places where I need to put in a little more work. Mostly, it allows me to smile at the good fortune I've had and this makes my heart sing.
On this day last year, I took a walk up to Piazzale Michelangelo and visited San Miniato Church. I was also settling into my new apartment in a new neighborhood, San Niccolo. I'm sharing some photos, and a short video, (below) that I shot from the steps of San Miniato. Hopefully they will make you smile as well. You can see more Firenze photos in the Italy section.
